The Full Story

Buffalo County Humane Association has been caring for companion animals in need for 25 years. We opened our first permanent building, the Jerome and Judith Benson Animal Shelter, in fall of 2019.

BCHA is an all-volunteer organization. The shelter is open by appointment only.

BCHA is recognized as a nonprofit organization under IRS Code, Section 501(c)(3).
